The purpose of this study is to examine the principles and practices of intermediate Korean VOD in Online King Sejong Institute. To accomplish this, what is investigated are the goals and contents of the Korean intermediate curriculum and textbooks, the main points of blended learning and micro learning required for VOD development, the sense of teaching presence and cognitive presence to be considered in the development of VOD, and the composition and characteristics of the platform. With above investigations, the instructional unit of the VOD was presented by dividing it into the language knowledge sections such as vocabulary and grammar, the language comprehension sections such as reading and listening, the language expression sections such as speaking and writing, and introduction and finishing parts of the unit.
