The objective of this research is to investigate the intercultural sensitivity and the cultural adaptation of foreign university students in Korea through statistical analysis of questionary survey. The analysis of survey’s responses produced the following findings. First, religion and foreign language learning experience had an effect on the intercultural sensitivity but nationality and gender affected the cultural adaptation. Vietnam students’ cultural adaptation was lower than the other and female had experience culture shock less than male but male’s emotional sense of stability was higher than female’s. In addition, foreign language learning experience affected the culture shock. Secondly, there was a weak correlation the intercultural sensitivity between the cultural adaptation. There was a definite correlation the intercultural sensitivity between the culture shock and also the cultural adaptation between the embracing other cultures. Lastly, the intercultural sensitivity contributed to the cultural adaptation. As the intercultural sensitivity increased, so did the cultural adaptation. The embracing other cultures had an effect on the cultural adaptation and the worries about loss of own culture from an exchange of culture as inversely related to the cultural adaptation.
