The purpose of this study is to classify the case mismatch type of Korean- Russian verbs which cause translation error. 30% of the TOPIK1 290 verbs showed case mismatches. Mismatch of the verbs cases can be categorized into 4 types: 1) verb with one argument 2) verb with two arguments 3) verb requires case in Korean but don’t requires case in Russian 4) different verbs used in Russian and Korean. This Study will help Russian language learner who learn Korean to write and translate without verb case mismatch errors.
