Indirect Prohibitive Expressions are very important for a harmonious conversation. But due to the difficulties in confirming the forms of those expressions, we have scarcely studied and taught them in Korean language classes. In order to propose a solution to this problem, this paper will deal with pragmatical situations in which the learners would frequently face. I searched and analysed commonly used strategies and forms in those situations by using DCT. Through this process, I was also able to present multi-functional strategies and forms. Finally, I proposed several suggestions for desirable teaching-learning methods of Korean Indirect prohibitive expressions.
