The purpose of this study is to examine on language types of communication in foreigner talk used by Korean teacher, is to check the funtion in category of usage by language types. The results of this research can be summarized as follows: 1) The characteristics of foreigner talk include the use of simple words and formal expressions, the use of short sentences and ungrammatical form. In addition, it include the use of slow speed of speech, the use of non-verbal and semi-verbal strategies and so on. 2) The foreigner talk is more used about teachers utterances for progress with class than teachers utterances for instructive objective through various language types. 3) The foreigner talk used by Korean teacher has changed very much by teacher variables. It means the importance of teacher education.
