This study was designed to investigate how L2 learners of Korean acquire Korean Serial Verb Constructions (SVCs). The SVCs in the current study include conjunction sentence and verb combination construction. ‘-se’ insertion and honorific ‘-(u)si-’ addition to V1 were taken to observe how the participants made the grammatical judgment on the SVCs sentences. These three testers displayed how the participants perceived the fuzziness of SVCs. The number of participants was 73 in total, 30 Korean native speakers(NK), 22 L1 Chinese speakers of Koreans(CK), and 21 L1 English speakers of Koreans(EK). The learners showed the different grammatical judgment on Korean SVCs from NK. CK and EK showed significant differences partially in their grammatical judgments. The NK’s responses indicated that they perceived the syntactic and semantical fuzziness of SVCs. However the L2 learners did not conform the NK’s pattern of responses.
