Pedagogical method of creating exam answers for KAP learners

The following paper first analyzes the textual characteristics of exam answers that are shared by academic discourse community of Korean universities and focuses on presenting pedagogical method of creating exam answers for KAP learners. Currently, the number of international students studying in Korea is continuously increasing, and researches examining the construction of KAP proficiency necessary for theses students and searching for pedagogical method have been done in polymorphous ways. Researches on teaching academic writing are actively performed much more than other language skills as the needs in this domain are the greatest. However, researches on academic writing are heavily focused on writing reports therefore researches on other writing tasks are becoming more in demand. The following paper presents pedagogical method for creating exam answers by introducing genre-based approach, analyzing exam answers filled out by Korean students and international students in order to search for pedagogical method of creating exam answers which is one of very important tasks for KAP learners.
