A Study on Productive Skills in Teaching Korean as an L2

This is about the productive skills in Teaching Korean as a L2. A statistics and research trend are examined by research contents which are classified as thesis for a degree and journal publication dissertation for speaking and writing about last 10 years. In case of speaking, while there are many theses on speech act, the discussion which are associated with listening or evaluation is few. Also the research on the person who studies the Korean language in special purpose is few. On the other hand, in case of writing, where there are many researches on the person who studies the Korean language in academic purpose, the research which is associated with evaluation or strategy, especially associated with literacy, is few. Therefore, the research imbalance of speaking and writing is confirmed. It is pointed out problems in macro level and proposed five ways in the directivity of research. Suggestions for solving the problem pointed out are making conclusions.
