본고에서는 교수자의 강의 자료, 이미지와 음악, 기존의 미디어 콘텐츠를 결합 한 짧은 분량의 디지털 콘텐츠를 대학 글쓰기 수업에서 활용할 것을 제안한다. 디지털 콘텐츠는 학생들이 대면 수업에서 이해하기 어려워하는 내용을 위주로 하여, 대면 수업을 보충하고 지원하는 목적으로 제작되었다. 신입생 대상의 보고서 작성 강의가 15주차 글쓰기 대면 수업으로 진행되면서 필요한 주차에 미니 레슨 형식의 디지털 콘텐츠를 제공한 후, 학기말에 수업에 참여한 118명 대학생들을 대상으로 이에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 대다수의 학생들이 새로운 형식의 디지털 콘텐츠가 글쓰기 수업의 이해에 큰 도움이 되었다고 답변했다. 단과 대학별로 대학생들이 선호하는 디지털 콘텐츠의 유형에 차이가 있었으며, 대다수의 학생들은 콘텐츠의 내용뿐 아니라 시각, 청각적 요소를 매우 중시하였다.
In this paper, the new style of digital contents for college writing education was suggested. The digital contents that consist of lecture contents with images and music, movie clips were provided to college students for the purpose of supporting contents that students had troubles to understand. These digital contents were produced for supporting face-to-face classes. They were short-form videos lasting not over 8minutes and uploaded in Youtube platform. As the result of survey, most students were very satisfied with digital contents. There were differences students’ preferences about types of contents based on their majors. Majority of students cared visual and auditory factors of digital contents as same as contents.
