TTT 모형을 활용한 추측 표현 교육 연구

A Study on Methodology of teaching Korean expressions for guessing applying TTT model

This article aims to suggest a methodology of teaching Korean grammatical expressions related to make an assumptions for what the speakers are not sure about by means of TTT model. The expressions related to make an assumptions in Korean have been known as one of difficult grammatical items to acquire since it minute difference in their meaning and use. The reason it's hard to use correctly these items is not on the complexity in their forms but on the difference is their meaning and use. It implies the priority in teaching methodology should be on meaning and use too. TTT model has a benefit on teaching grammars focusing on their meaning and use and it can have a merit for teaching Korean grammatical expressions related to make an assumptions. However, in Korean language education, TTT model is not a well and widely-received grammar teaching methodology unlike in case of English education. Scholars have noted that TTT model does not fit Korean grammar education because of the formal complexity of Korean grammar. In a certain point of view, this note can be true and acceptable. Having said that, the world wide trend in grammar education which focuses on meaning like TTT should not be underestimated with too much ease. So, This article will examine the way to apply TTT model in Korean grammar education and particularly for the expressions related to make an assumptions which discerning the difference in meaning is the key to master the expressions.
