This study is an analysis on the types of reading questions in the advanced level Korean language textbooks. The reading questions have an influence on the reading process of learners. In order to study, I explored into what reading questions are being used in the current Korean language textbooks, and the reading which is required of learners in such textbooks. As a result, the study found that the Korean language textbooks focus on asking the contents of writings and asking a learner's feeling after reading the writings. It could be safely said that this constructionism of questions has a limit that a learner is not able to have an opportunity of deepening their own construction of meanings. Therefore, teachers should suggest questions which enable learners to read writings on basis of their knowledge or experience in the classroom. By teacher's question, when introducing critical reading and expressing their thoughts in the classroom, the reading class would be transformed into a learner centered one.
