This study is to conduct a unit construction of Korean Literature materials for those learning Korean in the Arabic region. The absence of the teaching material available in the lecture of Korean literature in the Arabic region is a serious problem in view of the shortage of those specialized in the Korean language. This study is urgent for the efficient increase of linguistic education via literature works of well standing in regard to the culture, customs, life and sense of Korea as well as the learners desire to know a variety of Korean culture. This research was undertaken in order to understand the characteristics of the learners in the Arabic region, which was used as the milestone for the development of educational material of Korean literature in this study. In addition, focusing on linguistic model, cultural model and personal growth model stated in Carter & Long(1991:1-11), it contains the unit construction study to be used in materials on Korean literature for learners among those who major in Korean.
