This paper has examined the contrast of Korean ‘eoss’ and Chinese ‘le’. First, I considered meaning aspect what Korean ‘eoss‘ has, and semantic properties what Chinese ‘le’ means. Next, this paper focused on searching points of sameness and difference between the meaning and the use which they contain. It has value in that Chinese who learns Korean and Korean who learns Chinese can understand the past tense Korean ‘eoss’ and past expression element of Chinese ‘le’ accurately.
