This study aims to present what pedagogical grammar knowledge is needed for language teachers regarding to Korean adnominal constructions. For pedagogical grammar knowledge, teachers should know grammatical features of Korean adnominal constructions which can be problematic for Korean language learners. Also, Korean language teachers need to know how to recognize, evaluate and treat errors in Korean adnominal constructions. Then, teachers should develop syllabus and teaching methods according to principles of L2 acquisition by analyzing and reorganizing grammatical contents of textbooks. Grammatical features of Korean adnominal constructions which can be problematic for learners are related to the morphosyntactic form and meaning of adnominal endings such as ‘-(으)ㄴ’, ‘-(으)ㄹ’, the nature of conjugated adnominal endings, choice of adnominal endings depending on the semantic features of verbs and the place of modifying and modified form in a clause. Based on this pedagogical grammar knowledge, teachers can evaluate appropriateness and efficiency of grammar descriptions in textbooks and treat learners' errors properly.
