The purpose of this study is to set the category of respect forms in Korean language education for foreigners. The category of educational respect forms for foreigners should not be same as that for native speakers. Nevertheless, there is no consensus on the category of respect forms in Korean education as a foreign language. This study is aimed to reach the consensus on the category of educational respect forms in Korean language education through the Delphi technique, which is to collect the opinions from the group of experts. The data from this study could be used as basic information in setting the category of educational respect forms and working on Korean language textbooks. Eventually, it will be helpful for students’ linguistic and sociocultural proficiency.
