This paper is to call attention to the value of korean grammar textbook at middle school. We may find that the current grammar textbook couldn't influence on the learner's understanding of their mother language. It needs to more close connection with concrete grammar concept in learner's latent knowledge for mother language. We should distinguish grammar teaching and grammar research. The grammar textbook can be the embodiment of grammar teaching. So the writers of grammar textbook have to more deep attention to making a better practical textbook.
