외국어로서의 한국어 조사 ‘로’ 교육

This paper aims to show an effective way of teaching a case-marker ‘ro’ in Korean for foreign learners. ‘ro’ is a case-marker that has many roles clinging to the end of a noun phrase. As a result, it is quite complicate and difficult for foreign learners to learn its usages. There are seven usages of ‘ro’ that should be taught. Those include Material, Instrument, Mean, Cause, Direction, Quality, and Result. Because its usages are various and complicate, it is necessary to teach it step by step. By the step by step teaching it mean that roles of ‘ro’ should be taught in accordance with lexical and grammatical degree of difficulty and easy of a sentence employing it.
