중국인 학습자를 위한 한국어 발음 교재 개발 방안

Proposal of Developing a Korean Language Pronunciation Textbook Targeting Chinese students

During the process of teaching Korean language to Chinese speakers, it is very important to set up an individual pronunciation course and use an independent textbook to teach student how to pronounce Korean. The aim of this article is to formulate a plan to create a Korean language pronunciation textbook, targeting Chinese-speaking students, by comparing two textbooks, ‘Korean Pronunciation' by Korean Language Institute of Yonsei University and ‘Standard Korean Pronunciation Practise' by Korean Language and Culture Center of Korean University. The article tries to point out the characteristics of the two textbooks and the existing problems by comparing the overall layout, specific structure and detailed contents of the two textbooks. Followed by the discussion of whether these textbooks are good for Chinese students to learn Korean and the aspects to be improved. Then, basing on the literature review, principles of developing textbooks, framework and content of the textbooks, the design of the textbook and the supplementary textbooks, the article brings about a proposal for developing a Korean Pronunciation textbook. At the final part of the article, an example of a middle level class was introduced as to explain detailed situation of developing a pronunciation textbook.
