Exploring the Direction of Revision for the Practical Art of 2022 Revised Basic Curriculum of Special Education

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 특수교육 현장의 요구를 반영하여 2022 개정 특수교육 기본 교육과정 실과 교과의 개정 방향을 탐색하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 이 연구의 목적을 위해 2015 개정 특수교육 기본 교육과정 실과 교과에 대한 인식과 개정 방향에 대해 특수교사와 학부모를 대상으로 초점집단면담을 실시하였고, 면담 결과를 지속적 비교 분석법을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과: 특수교육 기본 교육과정 실과 개정 방향 탐색을 위한 범주는 크게 실과 내용 체계의 재구조화, 교과와 학생의 특성을 고려한 교수·학습 설계로 나타났다. 실과 내용 체계의 재구조화에서는 의식주 중심의 가정생활, 작업활동과 정보통신의 기술정보, 인성 역량을 반영한 생명환경, 직업 탐색 및 교육전환으로써의 진로 인식 이라는 하위 주제가 나타났고, 교과와 학생의 특성을 고려한 교수·학습 설계 범주는 크게 사회적 요구를 반영한 장애 학생 지도, 노작 중심의 실습 교육, 교과간 연계 및 경험 중시 라는 하위 주제가 나타났다. 결론: 연구의 결과를 토대로 2022 개정 특수교육 기본 교육과정 실과의 개정 방향 탐색에 대한 논의를 제시하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the direction of revision for the practical art of 2022 revised basic curriculum of special education by reflecting the needs in special education. Methods: Focus group interviews were conducted with special education teachers and parents on perceptions of the practical art of 2015 revised basic curriculum of special education and the direction of revision. The results of the interviews were analyzed by a continuous comparative analysis. Results: The categories for finding the direction of revision of the practical art of 2022 revised basic curriculum of special education largely consisted of restructuring the practical art curriculum and designing teaching and learning in consideration of the characteristics of other subjects and students. In the category of restructuring the practical art curriculum, sub-themes, such as ‘family life centered on clothing, food, and shelter,’ ‘work activities and information & communication,’ ‘living environment including personality competency,’ and ‘career recognition as job search and educational transition’ appeared. In the category of teaching and learning design in consideration of other subjects and student characteristics, sub-themes, such as ‘guidance for students with disabilities reflecting social needs,’ ‘practice-oriented hands-on education,’ and ‘linkage between subjects and emphasis on experience’ appeared. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, a discussion on the direction of revision for the practical art of 2022 revised basic curriculum of special education was presented.
