중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력에 대한 특수교사의 중요도인식과 교수실행도

Special Education Teachers’ Teaching Perception and Practice on the Self-Determination of Students with Severe-Multiple Disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력에 대한 특수교사의 중요도인식과 교수실행도를 살펴보고, 이를 통하여 특수교사가 우선적으로 지원해야 할 중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력의 요소를 탐색함으로써, 자기결정력의 하위 영역별 교수전략과 실질적 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 제시된 연구문제에 따라 선행연구를 고찰하고 중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력에 대한 문항으로 구성된 설문지를 사용하여, 중도중복장애학생을 지도한 경험이 있는 특수교사를 대상으로 조사연구를 실시하였다. 회수된 203부의 설문지 중 196부를 최종 선별하여 빈도분석, 독립표본 t검정, 일원배치 분산분석, 대응표본 t검정, Borich 요구도 분석, IPA 매트릭스 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력에 대한 특수교사의 중요도인식은 전반적으로 높은 수준이었으며, 교수실행도는 보통수준으로 나타났다. 변인에 따라 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 확인되었다. 둘째, 중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력에 대한 특수교사의 중요도인식과 교수실행도는 모든 하위 영역과 세부항목에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 확인되었다. Borich 요구도와 IPA 매트릭스 분석의 공통적으로 강조되는 항목은 자기옹호, 자기관리 및 자기조절 , 자기인식 및 자기지식 영역이다. 결론: 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 중도중복장애학생의 자기결정력 신장을 위한 교수학습 전략을 제시하였다.

Purpose: This study aimed to provide teaching strategies and practical implications for the self-determination of students with severe-multiple disabilities by examining the perceptions and practices of special education teachers on the self-determination of students with severe-multiple disabilities in addition to exploring the factors of self-determination that special education teachers should preferentially support. Method: A total of 196 reponses were finally selected and analyzed using a frequency analysis, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, paired sample t-test, Borich demand analysis, and IPA matrix analysis. Results: First, the importance perception of special teachers on the self-determination of students with severe-multiple disabilities was generally high, and the degree of teaching execution was found to be moderate. Statistically significant differences were identified according to the variables. Second, statistically significant differences were confirmed in all sub-areas and details in the importance perception and teaching practice of special teachers on the self-determination power of students with severe-multiple disabilities. Commonly emphasized items in Borich demand and IPA matrix analysis were the areas of self-protection, self-management and self-regulation, self-awareness, and self-knowledge. Conclusion: A strategy was the items commonly required in the Borich and IPA matrix was provided.
