강화된 경험중심 심리운동 중재가 시각장애 유아의 수업참여행동 및 사회적 행동과 지각·운동능력에 미치는 영향

Effects of Psychomotricity with Enhanced Experience on the Class Participation & Social Behaviors and Perceptual-Motor Abilities of a Young Child with a Visual Impairment

연구목적: 본 연구는 강화된 경험중심 심리운동 중재가 선천적 시각장애 유아의 수업참여행동 및 사회적 행동과 지각·운동능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 연구방법: 연구 대상은 발달센터에 내원 중인 시각장애 유아 1명을 선정하였다. 목표행동인 수업참여행동에 대해서는 행동 간 중다간헐기초선 설계를 적용하였으며 사회적 행동과 지각·운동능력의 경우 사전·사후 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과: 강화된 경험중심 심리운동 중재는 시각장애 유아의 수업참여행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으며, 중재가 종료된 후에도 변화된 행동이 일반화, 유지되었다. 또한 사회적 행동과 지각·운동능력에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 결론: 본 연구 결과를 통해 시각장애 유아의 수업참여행동, 사회적 행동, 지각·운동능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 중재의 특징적 요소를 선행연구와 관련지어 논의하였으며 추후 연구를 제언하였다. 이 연구를 통해 시각장애 유아가 발달과정에서 경험하고 겪게 되는 다양한 이차적 장애에 대한 개선과 예방적 차원에서 심리운동의 적용 가능성과 효과를 확인하였으며, 특히 시각장애 유아를 위한 조기지원 차원에서 개별적 지원 요구를 반영하고 특히 감각운동적 특징을 고려한 강화된 경험중심 심리운동 중재가 목표행동에 대한 기능적 효과를 입증하였다는 점에서 그 의미를 갖는다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of psychomotricity with enhanced experience on the class participation behaviors, social behaviors and perceptual-motor abilities of a young child with a congenital visual impairment. Method: The subject was one young child with a visual impairment. To demonstrate the effects of this study, in the case of the class participation behaviors, multiple probe baseline design across behaviors was conducted, and in the case of social behaviors and perceptual-motor abilities, pre- and post-tests were conducted. Results: Psychomotricity with enhanced experience was effective in increasing the class participation behaviors and the changed behavior was generalized and maintained even after the intervention. It also had positive effects on the social behaviors and perceptual-motor abilities. Conclusion: This study confirmed the applicability and effectiveness of psychomotric intervention in terms of improvement and prevention of secondary disorders experienced by children with visual impairments. In particular, in terms of early intervention for children with visual impairments, it is meaningful that the psychomotricity with enhanced experience reflecting individual support needs and taking into account sensorimotor characteristics has proven functional effects on target behaviors.
