읽기이해 부진 학생 진단·평가를 위한추론적 이해 능력 검사 타당화 연구

A Validation Study of the Inferential comprehension skills Assessment for the students with reading comprehension difficulties

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 읽기이해 가운데서도 추론적 이해 능력을 정확히 진단하고 적절한 중재 계획 수립에 대한 정보를 제공해줄 수 있는 추론적 이해 검사를 개발하여 타당화하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 국내외 추론적 이해 관련 문헌 및 선행연구를 분석하여 추론적 이해를 교량적 추론과 정교화 추론인 2요인으로 보고, 어휘의미추론, 생략된 정보 추론, 인과관계 추론, 인물의 성격 및 감정 추론, 배경 추론, 이어질 내용 추론의 6개 영역에 대하여 총 30문항을 개발하였다. 개발된 추론적 이해 검사는 초등학교 5학년 학생 460명을 대상으로 실시하여 검사의 신뢰도, 양호도, 타당도를 검증하였다. 연구결과: 연구 결과 추론적 이해 검사 문항의 내적 일치도는 0.910 으로 높게 나왔다. 고전검사이론과 문항반응이론에 의해 분석되었으며 분석 결과 고전검사이론에 따른 문항의 난이도는 0.68, 변별도는 0.52로 적절한 난이도와 변별도를 보였으며, 문항반응이론 분석 결과 난이도는 –0.96(-2.59-0.50)로 나타나 쉬운 편이며, 변별도는 1.82(0.72-4.38)로 나타나 높은 편으로 나타났다. 구인타당도와 준거타당도를 분석한 결과 교량적 및 정교화 추론의 2요인구조와 6개의 하위 영역으로 추론적 이해 검사를 구성하는 것이 타당하다고 확인되었다. 결론: 본 연구에서 개발한 추론적 이해 검사는 읽기이해에 어려움을 보이는 학습장애 위험군 학생을 진단 및 평가하는데 적합한 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 결과에 기반하여 논의를 기술하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to verify the reliability and validity of the inferential comprehension assessment which was developed to examine the inferential comprehension of students at risk for learning disabilities. Method: Bridging inference consists of (1)inferring meaning of unknown words, (2)omitted information inference, (3)cause-and-effect relationships inference. Elaborative inference consists of (4)making inferences about character’s feeling and traits, (5)making inferences about the setting of the story, (6)prediction what will happen in the story. 30 items (15 minutes) of inferential comprehension test were constructed in 460, 5th elementary students. To evaluate technical adequacy of the test, reliability and validity of the test were analyzed. Results: The internal consistency coefficient of the test was .910 and the correlation with standardized achievement test, ACCENT comprehension test, was .701. In addition, the fit indices through the confirmatory factor analysis showed that construct validity of the inferential comprehension(2 factors measuring 6 sub-skills) test was appropriate. Conclusion: Based on this result, implications and limitations are discussed for diagnosing the inferential comprehension of students at risk for learning disabilities.
