중학교 특수학급 알림장(SNS 활용) 제공을 통한 장애학생 부모의 인식 및 태도 변화

Attitudes of Parents of Middle School Students with Special Needs according to Class Mobile Note (via SNS) by Special Education Teachers

연구목적: 본 연구는 중학교 특수학급 교사의 학교생활 알림장(SNS활용) 제공에 따른 부모의 태도 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 중학교 특수학급에 재학 중인 장애학생의 어머니 4명, 아버지 1명에게 학교생활 알림장 제공 사전 및 사후 심층 면담을 실시하였고, 질적 연구방법을 통해 부모의 태도 변화를 알아보았다. 학교생활 알림장은 소셜 네트워킹 어플리케이션인 ‘밴드’를 활용하여 2개월 간 총 29건의 학교생활알림으로 구성되어 있다. 연구결과 및 결론: 알림장 제공 후, 부모의 태도 변화는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자녀에 대한 부모의 태도는 자녀의 자율과 독립성을 존중하게 되었고, 감정 및 의사표현을 이해하게 되었다. 또한 가정에서 자녀를 지도 시 대화 내용이 더 다양해졌으며, 가정에서도 스스로 하게 지도하였다. 그리고 수용적인 엄마와 강압적인 아빠와의 갈등에서 긍정적인 변화를 경험했음을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 학교와 교사에 대한 부모의 태도에서도 긍정적인 인식 변화를 볼 수 있다. 아이에 대한 학교의 관심에 감사하게 되었고, 학교는 아이가 즐거워하는 곳이라고 생각하게 되었기 때문이다. 그리고 특수교사와 특수교육에 대한 신뢰와 기대가 높아졌지만, 담임교사보다 특수교사를 더 의존하는 태도를 보이기도 하였다. 셋째, 장애자녀 부모의 학교생활정보 교류에 대한 요구에 대해서는 부모는 자녀의 일반학급에서의 모습을 알고 싶어 했으며, SNS 알림장을 활성화하기를 기대하였다.

Purpose: This study was to know about the attitudes of parents of middle school students with special need according to class mobile note by special education teachers. Method: The participants of this study were 4 mothers and 1 father of the students with special needs in H middle school. Research design was qualitative study through deep pre and post of interview. Class mobile note was carried out with ‘band ; SNS application’ for 2 months 29 activities. Results & Conclusion: First, parents were about to respect their children and understood their emotion and communication. And conversation was getting to be more and diverse. Second, parents were getting to be appreciated to teachers and school. They thought that their chidren enjoyed the school lives. They are getting to truth in special education and special teachers. Third, parents wanted to know about the school lives of their children in inclusive classroom, and interact with other parents.
