장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 공감피로, 공감만족에 양육유능감이 미치는 매개효과 분석

The mediation effect of the parenting competence on the compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction of mother of children with disabilities

연구목적: 본 연구는 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 공감피로, 공감만족에 양육유능감이 미치는 매개효과를 분석하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 장애자녀를 둔 어머니 336명을 대상으로 공감피로, 공감만족과 양육유능감을 조사하였고, 상관관계 분석과 3단계 매개회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 연구결과: 첫째, 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 공감피로, 공감만족과 양육유능감 수준은 중간수준으로 나타났으며, 공감피로와 공감만족, 공감피로와 양육유능감 간에 부적 상관관계와 공감만족과 양육유능감 간에는 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 공감피로, 공감만족 간에 양육유능감이 매개변수로 영향을 주었다. 결론: 연구결과를 토대로 장애자녀를 둔 어머니의 공감피로를 줄여 공감만족을 높일 수 있는 방법으로 양육유능감을 간접적으로 강화하는 방법을 시사점으로 제안하였다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the mediation effect influencing the parenting sense of competence on the compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction of mother of children with disabilities. Method: To this end, 336 mother of children with disabilities were asked to completed the questionnaires investigating the compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction and parenting sense of competence. The collected data were analyzed by using the correlation analysis and the three step mediation regression analysis. Results: The results were as follows. First, the level of the compassion fatigue, compassion satisfaction and parenting sense of competence of mother of children with disabilities were on the average. And there was a statistically negative correlation between the compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction, and so was between the compassion of fatigue and parenting sense of competence. As well, there was positive correlation between the compassion of satisfaction and parenting sense of competence. Second, the mediation effect of parenting sense of competence was on the compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction. Based on these results, It could be presented that to reduce compassion fatigue in the relation of between compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction of mother of children with disabilities. Conclusion: For this, for the parenting sense of competence improve, it is necessary to provide an opportunity through various support of personal and social aspect.
