이 연구에서는 일반 보육시설 원장의 장애영유아 통합보육에 대한 태도 유형을 주관성 연구방법(Q방법론)에 따라 분석하였다. 연구대상은 경남 지역 일반 보육시설 원장 36명이었으며 장애 영유아 통합보육에 대한 태도 유형을 분석한 결과 제 1유형 신념화된 원칙주의형, 제 2유형 차별적 접근개념 적용형, 제 3유형 전문지식 및 인식 개선 우선형의 3가지 유형으로 분석되었다. 세 유형 중 1유형이 장애영유아 통합보육에 대한 일반 보육시설 원장의 태도를 가장 많이 설명하고 있었다. 각 유형별 일반 보육시설 원장들의 답변에 대하여 긍정적 동의와 부정적 동의를 보인 진술문과 개인별 의견을 토대로 각 유형의 특성을 분석하였으며, 특수교육에의 함의점 등에 대하여 논의하였다.
This study was to analyze the attitude type of daycare center directors toward inclusion for infants and young children with disabilities. The subjectivity study method (Q-methodology) was used as a research method. The 37 Q statements from previous researches, open ended question survey and in-dept interview with child care directors, teachers, mothers with and without children with disabilities. P-population were 36 directors who live in Gyeongnam area. As a result of the research, the attitude of daycare center directors toward inclusive child care was classified to three types. The type Ⅰ was labeled as “the type with principle and conviction about inclusion.” They emphasize they must do inclusion even if the equipment and conditions are not enough. The type Ⅱ was labeled as “the type with discrimination approach notion.” They stress that child care for infants and young children with disabilities should be conducted discriminatively compared to general child care with special education teacher, special educational process, support of therapist etc. The type Ⅲ was labeled as “the type with priority about professional knowledge and recognition improvement.”They emphasize directors, teachers and parents must have professional knowledge and improvement of recognition about inclusion compared to any other conditions for successful inclusion for infants and children with disabilities.
