노래 및 음식재료판 제작활동을 통한 생활자립훈련이 그룹홈 거주 지적장애인의 요리기술에 미치는 효과

The Effect of Life Independence Training through Making Activities of Song and Ingredient Board on Cooking Skill of Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities Living in Group Homes

본 연구는 노래 및 음식재료판 제작활동을 통한 생활자립훈련이 그룹홈 거주 지적장애인의 요리기술에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해, 특수학교 고등부 과정을 최종 졸업한 이후 그룹홈에 거주한 지 7～8개월째 되는 세 명의 지적장애인을 연구 대상으로 선정하였다. 실험 환경은 그룹홈 내 주방, 스터디룸, 일반가정의 주방과 같이 세 가지로 구성되었으며, 실험 설계는 단일대상연구의 여러 기법 중 대상자간 중다간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 독립변인인 노래 및 음식재료판 제작을 활용한 생활자립훈련은 연구 대상들이 속한 그룹홈 내에서 수시로 활용하는 스마트폰, 컴퓨터, 생활정보 게시판을 학습 수단으로 반영하여 구성되었다. 그리고 본 연구의 독립변인에서 노래 제작과 음식재료판 제작은 상호 연계적인 절차와 방법으로 적용되었다. 목표행동(종속변인)인 요리기술은 연구 대상들이 오징어 볶음의 요리를 수행하는 것으로 조작적 정의되었다. 연구 결과, 연구 대상들은 중재프로그램을 통하여 목표행동인 요리기술을 효과적으로 습득한 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 연구 대상들은 중재가 종료된 지 3주 이후의 시점에서 습득한 목표행동을 효과적으로 유지한 것으로 나타났으며, 자신이 과거에 거주하였던 일반가정의 주방에서 실시된 일반화 측정에 있어서도 중재 및 유지 효과와 상호 유사한 결과를 나타냈다. 끝으로, 본 연구는 독립변인과 종속변인의 기능적 관계가 시사하는 바를 중심으로 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to find the effect of life independence training through making activities of song and ingredient board on cooking skill of individuals with intellectual disabilities living in group homes. For this purpose, three individuals with intellectual disabilities who have been living in group homes for 7～8 months after graduating high school course of special school were selected as subjects. The experimental environment was divided into three areas including kitchen and study room in group homes and kitchen at home. Multiple probe baseline design across the subjects was used among various techniques of single subject study. Life independence training through making activities of song and ingredient board was used as independent variable to create learning method based on smart phones, computers and life information bulletin board frequently used by the subjects in group homes. Also in the independent variable of this study, making of song and making of ingredient board were applied with mutually connected procedure and method. Cooking skill, the target behavior (dependent variable), was operationally defined as cooking of stir-fried squid by the subjects. As a result of this study, the subjects were found to effectively acquire cooking skill, the target behavior, through the intervention program. In addition, the subjects effectively maintained the target behavior acquired until 3 weeks after the end of the intervention. Intervention and maintenance effects were similarly shown when generalized measurement was performed in kitchens at home they used to live in the past. Lastly, this study focused its discussion on implications of the functional relationship between independent and dependent variables.
