배려증진프로그램과 장애이해교육이 초등학생의 장애수용태도와 이타행동에 미치는 영향

본 연구의 목적은 배려증진프로그램과 장애이해교육이 초등학생의 장애수용태도와 이타행동에 미치는 효과를 비교하는 것이다. 이를 위해 한 초등학교 내에서 3학급을 무선표집하여, 실험집단에는 배려증진프로그램과 장애이해교육을 실시하고, 어떤 교육도 제공하지 않는 통제집단을 구성한 후 장애수용태도와 이타행동을 사전, 사후 검사하여 비교하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 배려증진프로그램과 장애이해교육은 유사하게 초등학생의 장애수용태도를 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 배려증진프로그램과 장애이해교육은 초등학생의 이타행동을 전반적으로 향상시키지는 않았으나, 이타행동의 하위 요소인 경도 일탈된 행위에 대한 반응에서는 통제 집단보다 더 나은 결과를 나타냈다.

The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Care Enhancement Program and Disability Understanding Education on disability acceptance and altruistic behaviors of elementary school students. To achieve this purpose, the followings were the specific research questions in this research. 1) To compare the effectiveness of Care Enhancement Program and Disability Understanding Education on disability acceptance attitude of elementary school students. 2) To compare the effectiveness of Care Enhancement Program and Disability Understanding Education on altruistic behaviors of elementary school students. The study set 3 groups for this research. The first experimental group was having Care Enhancement Program, the second group was having Disability Understanding Education, and the third group was controlled to be without any education. The results were examined statistically with SPSS 18.0. Specifically, MANOVA was used to verify the effectiveness of the treatment. The results were as the follows. First, Care Enhancement Program and Disability Understanding Education improved disability acceptance attitude of elementary school students. There was statistically significant difference between experimental groups and control group, and in cognitive domain, emotional domain, and conductive domain, which are sub-domain of disability acceptance attitude. Second, overall Care Enhancement Program and Disability Understanding Education didn't improve altruistic behaviors of elementary school students. However, the experimental group outperformed control group on one sub-domain of altruistic behaviors, a response to someone who struggle with small problem on street in general.
