그림교환의사소통체계를 이용한 중재가 발달장애학생의 수업참여행동에 미치는 영향

A study on the effects of intervention using A Study on the Effects of Intervention Using Picture Exchange Communication System(PECS) on the Class Participation Behavior for the Students with Developmental Disabilities

본 연구는 그림교환의사소통체계를 이용한 중재가 발달장애학생의 수업참여행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 특수학교에 재학 중인 초등학생 3명을 대상으로 대상자간 중다 기초선 설계를 이용하여 기초선, 중재, 유지 순으로 실험을 진행하였고, 종일반 교실에서 중재를 실시하였으며, 자료수집은 수업시간동안 자연스러운 상황에서 사건기록법으로 기록하였다. 이 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 발달장애학생의 수업참여행동(교사에게 주목하기, 활동 참여하기, 주어진 과제 수행하기)발생률이 증가하였다. 둘째, 향상된 수업참여행동은 10일 후에도 전반적으로 높은 수준에서 유지되었다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 종합하여 볼 때, 그림교환의사소통체계를 이용한 중재가 발달장애학생의 수업참여행동 발생률을 증가시키고 유지시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다.

This study examined the effects of Picture Exchange Communication System on the class participation behavior of the students with developmental disabilities. For this purpose, three students with developmental disabilities were selected, and multiple prove baseline design across subjects had been used. The intervention was practiced in classroom, and evaluation was made during class using event recording. The results of this study were as follows:First, the frequency of class participation behavior(the attention behavior, the activity participation behavior, and the assignment accomplishment behavior) by Picture Exchange Communication System was increased. Second, the frequency of the increased class participation behavior(the attention behavior, the activity participation behavior, and the assignment accomplishment behavior) by Picture Exchange Communication System was maintained for all participants. Based on the results, the Picture Exchange Communication System had a positive effect on the class participation behavior(the attention behavior to teacher, the activity participation behavior, and the assignment accomplishment behavior) of the students with developmental disabilities.
