본 연구는 현 국가수준의 교육과정인 누리과정에 따른 3-5세 어린이집 프로그램에 나타난 ‘장애’관련 활동을 분석해 보고자 하였다. 이를 통해 보육현장 교사들이 3-5세 누리과정의 장애이해 및 통합교육의 방향을 이해하고 ‘장애’관련 활동을 연령에 따라 적용‧실천하는데 도움을 주며 앞으로 국가수준의 교육‧보육과정의 ‘장애’관련 활동을 개발함에 있어 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 누리과정에 따른 3-5세 어린이집 프로그램 ‘장애’관련 활동의 목표, 내용, 활동유형 및 영역과 관련요소, 주제별 비중을 분석준거에 의하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 첫째, ‘장애’관련 활동의 목표는 총 24개로 3세 2개, 5세 8개, 4세 14개 비중 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, ‘장애’관련 활동의 내용은 3세 3개, 5세 11개로 이해중심접근만 보였으며, 4세는 이해중심접근 22개, 활동중심접근 1개를 보였다. 셋째, 3, 4, 5세 모든 연령가운데 활동유형 및 영역은 대‧소집단 활동에서 관련요소는 의소소통, 사회관계에서 높은 비중을 보였다. 넷째, ‘장애’관련 활동의 주제별 비중은 3세 ‘어린이집과 친구’ 1개, 4세 ‘동식물과 자연’ 2개, 5세 ‘우리 동네’ 3개로 가장 높은 비중을 보였다.
This study analyzed the ‘disability'-related activities in nursery programs based on Nuri curriculum for 3-5 year-olds, a national curriculum, to accomplish the following three objectives: (1) allowing child care teachers to understand ‘disability'-related activities and direction of inclusive education of Nuri curriculum for 3-5 year-olds; (2) helping child care teachers apply and execute such activities according to the age of students; (3) offering basic data for developing relevant activities in the national education and child care curriculum. To accomplish the objectives, this study analyzed the goals, content, activity types and areas, relevant elements, and proportion of each topic of nursery programs for 3-5 year-olds, based on the analysis criteria. The study findings were as follows. First, there were a total of 24 goals of ‘disability'-related activities, with 2 for 3-year-olds, 8 for 5-year-olds, and 14 for 4-year-olds. Second, as for contents of ‘disability'-related activities, there were 3 for 3-year-olds and 11 for 5-year-olds with only understanding-oriented approach, while there were 22 with understanding-oriented approach and one activity-oriented approach for 4-year-olds. Third, among the age groups, the high proportion of activity types were found in large and small group activities, while major elements related were found in communications and social relationships. Fourth, in terms of the proportion by topic of ‘disability'-related activities, there was 1 under ‘Nursery and Friends' for 3-year-olds, 2 under ‘Animals, Plants, and Nature' for 4-year-olds, and 3 under 'My Town' for 5-year-olds, the highest proportion.
