온라인 자원봉사 운영에 관한 탐색적 사례 연구

An exploratory case study of online volunteer management experience: Focusing on pilot projects of the volunteer centers in Korea

본 연구는 체계적인 온라인 자원봉사 관리방안을 모색해보고자 4개지역 자원봉사센터의 온라인 자원봉사 프로그램 운영 경험을 사례 분석하였다. 그 결과 계획과 모집과정에서 관리자는 온라인 봉사활동의 개념을 명확히하여 오프라인 봉사활동보다 철저하게 준비하고 동기부여해야 했다. 운영과 관리과정에서 윤리교육을 기반으로 유대감과 안정감을 느끼도록 의사소통하는 것이 필요했다. 결과와 후속관리과정에서 갈등관리와 봉사자 성장 확인, 그리고 관리자의 업무과중에 대한 고려가 지적되었다. 이러한 사례분석결과를 바탕으로 온라인 자원봉사 활성화를 위하여 창의적 프로그램 개발, 온라인 자원봉사 개념 교육, 온라인 자원봉사 플랫폼의 중요성, 봉사성과 관리체계 전환 필요, 온라인 봉사활동을 위한 동기부여의 중요성을 강조하였다.

This study explored the managers’ experiences of online volunteer pilot projects in four regional volunteer centers by conducting a qualitative case study. As a result, managers needed to clearly define the concept of online volunteering, thoroughly prepare and motivate volunteers more than offline volunteer programs during planning and recruitment processes. In the operational and management processes, it was necessary to communicate a sense of unity and stability based on ethical education. The analysis pointed out the importance of conflict management, volunteer growth confirmation, and consideration of managerial workload in the results and follow-up management processes. Based on these results, recommendations for activating online volunteerism include emphasizing creative program development, education on the concept of online volunteering, the significance of online volunteer platforms, challenges in volunteer time management systems, and the importance of motivation for online volunteer activities.
