로우테크 보조공학 활용을 위한 협력적 팀워크 중재가 지적장애 중학생의 쓰기 명료도와 시간에 미치는 영향

The Effects of collaborative teamwork intervention for using low-tech assistive technology on the writing legibility and time of middle school students with intellectual disabilities

본 연구의 목적은 로우테크 보조공학 활용을 위한 협력적 팀워크 중재가 쓰기 명료도와 시간에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 3명의 지적장애 중학생과 함께 특수교사 2명, 작업치료사 2명이 연구에 참여하였다. 연구 설계는 대상자간 중다 간헐 기초선 설계를 사용하였다. 팀이 협력적 팀워크 중재를 통하여 개별적으로 적절한 로우테크 보조공학을 적용하였으며, 한글 단어 쓰기 검사 점수와 검사 수행에 필요한 시간을 쓰기 명료도와 시간으로서 측정하였다. 실험 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 3명의 대상자의 쓰기 명료도는 협력적 팀워크 중재를 통하여 적용된 로우테크 보조공학에 의하여 증가되었다. 둘째, 쓰기 시간은 감소되었다. 셋째, 쓰기 명료도의 증가와 쓰기 시간의 감소는 3주 동안 유지되었다. 이러한 결과들은 로우테크 보조공학 활용을 위한 협력적 팀워크 중재가 지적장애 중학생의 글씨쓰기 능력 증진에 효과적이었음을 제시한다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of collaborative teamwork intervention for using low-tech assistive technology on the writing legibility and time. Three middle school students with intellectual disabilities, two special educators and two occupational therapists participated in this study. Multiple probe baseline design across subjects was used. A team applied appropriate low-tech assistive technology individually through the collaborative teamwork intervention. The scores of Hangul Word Writing Test and the time required to complete test were used to evaluate as the writing legibility and time. The results are as follows: First, the writing legibility of three participants were increased by apply low-tech assistive technology through collaborative teamwork intervention. Second, the writing time of three participants were decreased by apply low-tech assistive technology through collaborative teamwork intervention. Third, the improvements in the writing legibility and the decreasing in the writing time were maintained for 3 weeks. The results indicates that the collaborative teamwork intervention for using low-tech assistive technology is effective in improving the handwriting of middle school students with intellectual disabilities.
