ADHD아동 부모의 통합학급 교사와의 협력에 대한 만족도와 방해요인 탐색

Parents' Satisfaction of Children with ADHD on Family-Teacher Partnership and Barrier Factors for Collaboration

본 연구는 ADHD아동이 통합교육을 효율적으로 받기 위해 반드시 전제가 되어야 할 부모와 교사의 협력의 중요성을 강조하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 협력의 주체자이지만 현실적으로 교사와의 협력에 평등한 주체가 되지 못하는 ADHD아동 부모들을 대상으로 통합학급 교사와의 협력에 대한 만족도와 협력 방해요인을 조사하였다. 연구대상은 ADHD부모 83명을 대상으로 정보제공, 전문성, 헌신, 심리적 지지, 의사소통 등의 6가지 하위영역으로 구성된 가족-전문가 협력에 관한 설문지를 이용하여 만족도를 측정하고, 개방형 문항을 통해 통합학급 교사와의 협력에 있어 방해요인을 알아보았다. 연구결과는 ADHD아동 부모들의 경우 통합학급 교사와의 협력에 대해 전반적으로 낮은 만족도를 나타내었고, 특히 심리적 지지 영역에서 가장 낮은 만족도를 보여주었다. 이렇게 낮은 협력에 관한 만족도를 보이는 이유 교사의 ADHD아동에 대한 부정적 인식, 교사의 전문 지식 부족, 아동에 대한 소극적 지도, 교사의 권위적 태도와 관심 부족, 협력의 기회부족 등의 5가지 방해요인이 있었기 때문이었다. 이들 연구결과는 ADHD아동 부모의 입장에서 통합학급 교사와의 협력의 만족도와 방해요인을 살펴본 것이어서 다소 통합학급 교사와의 시각차가 존재하겠지만 ADHD아동의 성공적인 통합교육을 위해서는 부모와 교사의 협력이 필수적이기 때문에 부모가 인식하는 협력의 요구수준을 잘 이해하여 부모의 파트너쉽을 강화시켜야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to explore possibilities of teacher-parent partnerships and to emphasized the value of parental participation regarding children with ADHD. Therefore, it was to analyze how parents perceive on collaboration with teachers and what is barriers factors for collaborative relationship between them. The participants of this study were 86 parents of children with ADHD. The measures was 'parent-professional collaboration survey including 5 sub-categories, offering information, professionalism, commitment, psychological support, communication. And it was asked them difficulties for collaboration through open-ended question. In results, parents of children with ADHD have the low satisfaction regarding collaborative partnership. Also, they mentioned 5 barrier factors for collaboration, negative perception, professional knowledge deficits, passive education attitude, authoritative attitude into parents and no empathy, less opportunity of collaboration. In conclusion, we need to understand parents' needs and should strengthen parents' partnership for successful integrative education
