유치원통합교육에 대한 자폐스펙트럼 장애유아 부모의 요구 분석

Parents’ Demands Having the Child with Autism Spectrum Disorder Related with Inclusive Education of Kindergarten

본 연구의 목적은 유치원 통합교육에 대한 취학 전 자폐스펙트럼 장애유아 부모의 요구를 분석하는 것이다. 연구 대상은 일반 유치원에 다니고 있는 취학 전 자폐스펙트럼 장애유아의 부모 8명이고, 면담(interview) 방법으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 문화기술적 분석방법(ethnographic method)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 다음과 같이 나타났다. 입학 전의 요구와 학기 중의 요구로 분석되었다. 입학 전의 요구에는 통합교육 관점의 이해, 적응의 지원, 물리적 환경 수정 그리고 1년 교육안의 협력 등으로 분석되었다. 학기 중의 요구에는 장애유아의 소개, 적절한 교수전략 적용 그리고 가정과의 연계 등으로 분석되었다. 이러한 결과는 자폐스펙트럼 장애유아의 성공적인 통합교육을 위한 교사와 장애유아 부모와의 협력관계가 정착되기 위한 토대를 제공해 줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the demands of the parents having children with autism spectrum disorder related with inclusive education of kindergarten. Subjects of the study were eight parents of the children with autism spectrum disorder. Data were collected with interview method and analyzed by ethnographic method. The results of the study were identified as follows: First, parents' demands in pre-admission are the teacher's better understanding on inclusive education, replacement of circumstance, and parents-teacher collaboration in inclusive education programs. Second, parents' demands during the semester are introduction of their children with autism spectrum disorder, application of teacher's relevant teaching strategies, and parents-teacher connection. This study will be the valuable source for the successful inclusion of children with autism spectrum disorder and the development of the teacher-parents connection education program.
