문장 구조 이해 프로그램의 적용이 읽기학습부진아동의 읽기 인식능력 및 읽기 이해력에 미치는 효과

The effects of sentence structure understanding program for the improvement reading awareness and reading comprehension of reading slow learners

본 연구는 문장 구조 이해 프로그램이 읽기학습부진아동의 읽기 인식능력과 읽기 이해력에 미치는 효과를 분석하였다. 읽기학습부진아동을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누고 프로그램 적용 전ㆍ후의 읽기 인식능력과 읽기 이해력의 차이를 공변량 분석하고, 읽기 인식능력과 읽기 이해력의 관계를 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문장 구조 이해 프로그램의 적용은 읽기학습부진아동의 읽기 인식능력을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 문장 구조 이해 프로그램의 적용은 읽기학습부진아동의 읽기 이해력을 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 문장 구조 이해 프로그램을 적용한 결과 읽기학습부진아동의 읽기 이해력은 읽기 인식능력의 하위요인 중 조건지식과 매우 유의한 관계를 맺고 있었다.

This study intends to analysis the effects of sentence structure understanding program for the improvement reading awareness and reading comprehension of reading slow learners. The study used a sample of 24 students(12 experimental group students and 12 control group students) classified as reading slow learners who were attending elementary schools in Y city. Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) and stepwise multiple regression was conducted to test the effects on the program. This study found the following results: First, The application of sentence structure understanding program improve to reading awareness of reading slow learners. Second, the application of sentence structure understanding program increase to reading comprehension of reading slow learners. Third, the application of sentence structure understanding program has been strongly related to reading comprehension and conditional knowledge which is a subcategory of reading awareness.
