경제생활 특수교육용 소프트웨어 활용 수업이 초등학교 정신지체학생의 경제생활 과제수행능력과 행동 변화에 미치는 효과

The Effects of Classes Using Economic Life Software for Special Education on Mentally Retarded Elementary School Students' Task Performance Abilities and Behavioral Changes in Economic Life

본 연구는 특수교육 현장에서 일어날 수 있는 다양한 경제생활 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 경제생활 관련 특수학교 기본 교육과정을 분석하고 재구성하여 개발한 경제생활 특수교육용 소프트웨어를 수업에 적용해봄으로써 경제생활 과제수행능력과 행동의 변화에 미치는 효과를 분석하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 본 연구 의 목적을 달성하기 위해 특수학급에 재학 중인 3, 4, 5학년 정신지체 학생들 3명을 대상으로 경제생활 특수교육용 소프트웨어를 적용하여 수업을 한 후, 경제생활 과제수행능력과 경제생활 행동의 변화를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 논의 및 결론을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 경제생활 특수교육용 소프트웨어를 활용한 수업이 정신지체학생의 경제생활의 과제수행능력에 미치는 효과를 분석한 결과, 개인적인 향상 정도의 차이는 있었지만 정신지체 학생 3명 모두 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 경제생활 특수교육용 소프트웨어를 활용한 수업이 정신지체학생의 경제생활 행동의 변화에 미치는 효과를 분석한 결과, 개인적인 향상의 차이는 있었지만 정신지체 학생 3명 모두 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서 적용한 경제생활 특수교육용 소프트웨어는 단순한 지식 위주의 교수‧학습 방법이 아닌 직접 체험활동을 통해 배우면서 익히고, 익힌 것을 몸소 체험할 수 소프트웨어이기 때문에, 정신지체학생들이 배울 수 있는 기초 자료가 될 것으로 기대할 수 있다.

The purposes of this study were to apply economic life software for special education, which was developed by analyzing and reorganizing the basic curriculum of special school related to economic life, to classes and analyze its effects on children's task performance abilities and behavioral changes in economic life so that they could solve diverse economic life issues in the environment of special education. For those purposes, three mentally retarded children each in the third, fourth, and fifth grade were selected from special classes and given lessons to which the developed software was applied. After the lessons, their task performance abilities and behavioral changes in economic life were analyzed. The research findings led to the following discussions and conclusions; first, it was examined what kind of impact the classes utilizing the economic life software for special education had on the mentally retarded students' abilities in economic life. The results indicate that all the three subject students improved in the area with small individual differences. And secondly, the influences of the classes utilizing the software were also reviewed on the subjects' attitudes toward economic life. The results show that all the three students also made progress with small individual differences.
