청각장애 아동의 의사소통 기술 향상을 위한 부모지원-가정중재프로그램의 내용 연구

A Study on the Contents of Parents Support-Home Based Intervention Programs for the Communication Skills of Children with Hearing Impairments

이 연구는 청각장애 아동의 의사소통 기술의 향상을 위하여 가정중재의 중요성을 인식하고, 청각장애 자녀를 둔 부모들이 자녀와의 의사소통을 향상시킬 수 있도록 부모를 지원하고 가정에서 중재를 적용할 수 있는 프로그램의 내용을 구성하는 것을 목적으로 이루어졌다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 선행연구 분석을 통해 부모지원-가정중재 프로그램의 내용을 분석하였다. 문헌분석 결과 부모들이 요구하는 부모지원-가정중재프로그램의 내용으로는 자녀와의 의사소통 방법 및 언어지도가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 선행연구의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 청각장애 아동과 그 가족을 위한 부모지원-가정중재프로그램의 내용을 구성하고, 교사들을 대상으로 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 이를 바탕으로 가정중재 프로그램이 갖는 의의와 부모 지원과 가정중재에 관한 향후 연구 방향 등에 대해 논의하였다.

Based on the recognition that home based intervention is important to improve communication skills of children with hearing impairments, this study concentrated on development the contents of program which can support parents of children with hearing impairments and which can be adopted at home to improve communication skills with their children. For the purpose of this study, the types of impairments for the subjects received home based intervention and the contents of programs derived from survey for parents were examined by analyzing existing literature. The analysis showed parents support home based intervention done for parents of children with hearing impairments were not many, and the contents of parents support home based intervention programs parents want were mostly the methods of communication and language instruction for their children. Therefore, it is inferred that the contents of programs parents really want are effective communication skills and interactions with their children. Based on this result, parents support- home based intervention programs which can be adopted at home were development and implication of the programs were discussed in this paper.
