가족지원 미술치료 프로그램이 장애청소년의 사회성 향상에 미치는 효과

The effects of family art therapy program on improving sociability of juveniles with disabilities

본 연구는 장애청소년은 물론 가족에게 미술치료프로그램을 제공하여 장애청소년의 사회성 향상에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 즉, 가족지원미술치료 프로그램이 장애청소년의 K-CBCL에 의한 사회성 변화와 관찰 기록지에 의한 사회성 변화가 있는지 알아보는 것이다.장애청소년 18명을 대상으로 2005년 4월부터 7월까지 실시하였으며 연구장소는 D연구소 집단미술치료실과 M청소년 수련원 강당에서 실시하였다. 연구도구로는 K-CBCL 및 관찰기록지를 사용하였다.먼저 장애청소년, 형제자매, 어머니에 대한 집단미술치료프로그램을 각 집단의 특성에 맞게 구성하여 6회기씩 실시하였으며, 이후 전가족이 함께하는 가족미술치료를 실시하였다. 장애청소년 집단미술치료는 장애수준별 4그룹으로 나누어 실시하였으며 형제자매 및 어머니집단은 두 그룹으로 나누어 실시하였다. K-CBCL과 관찰기록지를 통한 연구결과 사전검사에 비해 사후검사에서 장애청소년의 사회성이 유의미하게 향상되어 전반적으로 사회성이 향상된 것을 알 수 있었다. 연구결과와 논의를 통하여 가족지원미술치료 프로그램은 장애청소년의 사회성 향상에 효과적이라는 결론을 얻었다.

This research aims to take a look at the effects of art therapy program on improving sociability of juveniles with disabilities by providing it to their family as well as them. The subject were 18 juveniles with disabilities and their family members. It was conducted from April 2005 to June 2007 at “D” Art Therapy Institute and “M” Youth Center. K-CBCL and observation record sheet were used as research tools. First, the total 6 sessions of group art therapy were carried out for the juveniles with disability groups, their sibling groups, and their mother groups and each session was composed, depending on the characteristics of each group. And then, family art therapy, which include total family members, was conducted. Group art therapy for juveniles with disabilities was divided into 4 groups according to their disabilities levels. Group art therapy for their siblings and their mothers was divided 2 groups. The results of this research are as follows ; First, the research through K-CBCL and observation record sheet showed that the increase in the sociability of the juveniles with disability was significant in the post-test compared with the pretest. Therefore we could see their sociability was improved by and large. Second, through the result of this research and further discussion, I could get to the conclusion that the art therapy program for family members is effective enough to improve sociability of juveniles with disabilities.
