초등학교 통합학급 교사의 장애아동을 위한 교수적합화의 이해 및 적용에 관한 조사연구

The study about general elementary education teacher's perceptions and implementation of instructional adaptation for students with disabilities

이 연구의 목적은 통합학급 교사들의 특수아동을 위한 교수적합화의 이해 정도와 현장 적용 여부를 조사하는 것이다. 연구를 위해 설문지를 제작하여 경기도 고양시의 5개 학교의 48명의 통합학급 교사에게 배부하였다. 통합학급 일반교사의 지원과 관련해서 5개 영역 36개 문항을 이해정도와 실제 적용여부로 구분하여 제시하였고, 평균, 상관계수, 빈도분석, 분산분석, 빈도교차분석을 활용하였다. 연구 결과 많은 교사들이 많은 항목에 대해서는 개념을 알고 있었다. 그러나 교수내용, 교수방법, 평가 부분의 교수적합화에 대해서는 잘 모른다고 응답한 비율이 상대적으로 높았다. 현장에서의 적용은 환경과 학습 집단화 협력 영역에 대해 적용 비율이 높았으나 교수내용, 교수방법, 평가 부분의 교수적합화 적용비율은 매우 낮았다. 이해 정도와 적용 간의 상관관계 분석 결과 상관관계를 보인 문항은 36개 문항 중 5개에 불과하였다. 연수, 교직경력, 통합경력, 용어 인식 여부의 각 집단 간 교수적합화의 이해정도 및 적용여부를 분석한 결과 통합경력에서 유의미한 차이를 보인 문항이 많았다. 그 문항은 인지 문항 2개와 적용 문항 10개를 포함하였다. 통합 경력이 2-5년 사이의 교사가 1～2년의 교사보다 인지 문항 2개와 적용문항 9개에서 이해 정도나 적용 정도가 높았다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate elementary education teacher's perceptions and implementation of instructional adaptation for students with disabilities. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire. Participants included 48 elementary teachers who have worked at each 5 inclusive elementary school in Goyang city, Gyeonggi-do. The questionnaire included 38 questions in six areas of instructional adaptation. The descriptive statistics, correlation, and one-way ANOVA were applied. Results of this research were as follows: First, majority of participants responded that they have rarely heard the word “instructional adaptation”, but they know the concept of the specific items. However, the participants gave low ratings to instructional adaptation in the area of instructional contents, method and evaluation. Second, majority of participants responded that they would adapt instructional adaptation in future. They wanted in-service teacher training about instructional adaptation, reduction of class size, reduction of teacher chore, and the development and diffusion of instructional materials for instructional adaptation.
