장애대학생의 대학생활적응 실태 및 사회적 지지에 대한 인식

Conditions of Adjustment to University and Perception to the Social Support of University Students with Disabilities

장애대학생에게 물리적 및 학업적 차원을 벗어나 좀 더 다양한 지원을 제공하고자 대학생활적응과 사회적 지지의 정도를 분석하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 장애대학생 119명의 연령, 성별, 학년, 입학방법, 장애유형, 장애등급에 따라 대학생활적응의 하위영역인 개인-정서적/ 사회적/ 일반적/ 학업적 적응과 사회적 지지의 물질적/ 정서적/ 정보적/ 평가적 지지 영역별로 분석하였다. 결과는 장애대학생의 배경변인에 따라 대학생활적응과 사회적 지지의 하위영역별로 성별을 제외하고는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 대학생활적응과 사회적 지지의 하위영역별 상관관계에서는 개인-정서적 적응과 물질적 지지를 제외하고는 유의미한 상관이 있었다. 이로써 장애대학생의 대학생활적응과 사회적 지지는 성별을 고려하여 지원해야 한다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.

This study is to analyze adjustment to university and social support degree for offering more various aids above and beyond physical and academic levels for university students with disabilities. For this study, it was selected 119 students with disabilities. Sub categories were examined according to the age, sex, grade, ways of entrance, kinds of disability, and levels of disability, who were admitted university. Sub categories were categorized as to. Adjustment to university categories were composed of 4, personal-emotional/ social/ institutional/ academic. Also, social support of university categories were composed of 4, instrumental/ emotional/ informational/ appraisal. The results are as follows: There are no significant difference in nearly all background variables except sex on adjustment to university and social support. Correlation to the sub categories in between adjustment to university and social support is significant connected statistically except 2 categories, personal-emotional adjustment and informational support. Therefore, these results suggest that it is necessary to support considering sex variable.
