에스퍼거 장애 아동에 대한 비장애 아동의 수용태도 조사

Korean Elementary Students without Disabilities' Perceptions for Their Peer with Asperger Syndrome

이 연구에서는 에스퍼거 장애 아동에 대한 비장애 아동의 수용 태도를 중소도시에 거주하는 초등학교 3학년 남자 59명, 여자 54명 총 113명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였다. 그 결과, 전반적으로 비장애 아동들은 에스퍼거 장애 아동에 대해 높은 수용도를 가지고 있으며, 활동, 학업, 친구 영역중에서 친구 영역에서 수용도가 가장 높음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고, 통합 학급 경험이 있는 군이 통합 학급 경험이 없는 군보다 수용도가 높았으며, 장시간 다양한 상호 작용을 해야 하는 상황에서는 통합 학급 경험이 있는 남자 군이 여자 군보다 수용도가 높음을 알 수 있었다.

This study investigated students without disabilities perceptions of a student with asperger syndrome by inclusion experiences and genders. This study collected responses from 59 boys and 54 girls of third grade elementary school students in a city. The result showed that students without disability positively perceived a student with asperger syndrome in two of three areas including non-academic and friendship, but they negatively perceived in academic areas. The student with asperger syndrome seems more positively perceived from other students than students with mental retardation because the student's communication, cognitive and academic ability are not much different from students without disability. Students' responses are analyzed by t test by inclusion experience and gender. And this study conducted cross tabulation of four different groups such as boys with and without inclusion experience and girls with and without inclusion experience. Students' responses on three areas are discussed and limitations and implications are suggested.
