언어치료교육은 의학과 교육학의 밀접한 상호공조 체계 속에 놓여 있으며, 배타적이고 위계적인 경계설정보다는 통합적이고 대화적인 관점으로 수용하고자 하는 것이 현대적 추세이다. 그러나 그것은 하나의 통일된 학문으로서의 일치를 의미하는 것은 아니며, 언어치료내에서의 ‘치료’와 ‘교육’은 서로 다른 학문적 배경과 차별적 과제를 가지고 있다고 하는 진술로부터 본 연구는 출발하고 있다. 본 주제에 접근하기 위하여 연구자는 치료교육의 선구적 역할을 한 독일의 예를 소개하고 있으며, 독일 언어치료교육의 역사와, 언어치료교육교사와 언어치료사에게 요구되는 차별적 과제 그리고 국내 언어치료교육교사의 양적. 질적 교육의 필요성과 중요성에 대하여 논의하였다.
It Ist Assumed That Human Beings Began To Use Languages Around 100 Thousand Years And Today The Number Of Languages On Earth Is Larger Than That Of Peoples. Languages Have Been Studied In Various Sciences From Diverse Perspectives According To The Ultimate Purpose Of Research. Research On The Nature Of Languages Has Provides Insights Into Speech Disorders And, Above All, Medicine Has Provided Intellectual Situations Concerning Speech Disorders And Their Treatments. Although Speech Therapy Came To Be A Most Spotlighted Science In The 21St Century, There Have Been Few Researches On The Entire History Throughout The Last Century. Thus The Present Study Purposed To Describe The Historical Process That Speech Therapy, While Approachable From Linguistics, Psychology, Special Education And Medicine, Has Been Settled As An Independent Science, Focused On Germany And Korea In Order To Provide Basic Materials For Future Speech Therapy Education. Language Therapeutic Education Is In The Cooperative System Between Medicine And Education And Its Contemporary Trend Is Admitting The Two Areas Of Science From The Integrated And Communicative Viewpoint Rather Than Drawing Exclusive And Hierarchical Boundaries. This, However, Does Not Mean That The Two Coincide With Each Other As A Unified Science. This Study Starts With The Statement That 'Therapy' And 'Education' In Language Therapy Have Different Academic Background As Well As Distinguished Tasks From Each Other. In Order To Approach The Subject, The Author Presented A Case In Germany, A Leading Country In Therapeutic Education And Dealt With The History Of Language Therapeutic Education, Distinguished Tasks Required To Language Therapeutic Education Teachers And To Language Therapists In Germany As Well As With The Necessity And The Importance Of Training Language Therapeutic Education Teachers In Quantity And Quality In Korea.
