The works of Aestheticism writer Oscar Wilde often appear plots which the hero became high-profile from anonymity. The reason behind this unique phenomenon is Wilde's subtle expression for his ideal-self. His obsession with ideal self was not only written into his work, but also combined to his own life. And this behavior caused his personality alienation and division. Based on the “mirror theory” of famous master of postmodern psychoanalysis Jacques Lacan, this paper will try to establish a comprehensive understanding of the dandy Oscar Wilde by exploring his deep psychological motivation of life trajectory.
