지적장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스와 가족기능 및 대처행동의 관계에 관한 연구

A Study on the Relationship between parenting Stress, Family Function, and Coping Behavior of Mothers of Children with Intellectual Disabilities

본 연구는 지적장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스와 가족기능 및 대처행동의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 분석을 위해 울산에 소재한 총 12개소의 지적장애아동 관련 기관을 이용하는 지적장애아동 어머니를 대상으로 315부를 사용하였다. 분석방법은 IBM SPSS 21.0을 이용하였으며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 지적장애아동 어머니들의 양육스트레스는 전반적으로 경험하는 것으로 나타났고 가족기능은 전체 평균보다 높게 나타났다. 어머니들의 대처행동은 전체 평균보다 약간 높았다. 하위요인에서는 지적장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스가 높을수록 가족응집성과 가족적응성은 유의미한 부적 영향을 나타냈으며, 양육스트레스가 높을수록 어머니의 대처행동은 감소하였다. 또한, 부모 및 가족문제가 순응형과 의존형에서 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 나타냈다. 지적장애아동 어머니의 대처행동이 높을수록 가족기능, 가족응집성 및 적응성은 증가하였다. 순응형의 대처행동이 많을수록 가족응집성은 증가하고, 의존형의 대처행동이 많을수록 가족적응성이 증가하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 지적장애아동 어머니의 양육스트레스와 가족기능의 관계에서 대처행동과 순응형의 대처행동이 매개관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며 가족기능에는 순응형 어머니의 대처행동이 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인임을 검증하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between parenting stress, family function, and coping behavior of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities. To this end, 315 copies were used for mothers of children with intellectual disabilities who use a total of 11 institutions for children with intellectual disabilities located in Ulsan. As for the analysis method, the mediating effect was verified by descriptive statistical analysis, t-test and multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis, simple and stepwise regression analysis, and Sobel test using IBM SPSS 21.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, the parenting stress of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities can be interpreted as an overall experience. Second, the family function of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities was higher than the overall average. Third, coping behavior of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities was slightly higher than the overall average. Fourth, the higher the parenting stress of mothers of disabled children, the lower factors, family cohesion and family adaptability, showed significant negative effects. Fifth, the mother's coping behavior decreased as the parenting stress of the mother of a disabled child increased, and parental and family problems, which are sub-factors of parenting stress, were statistically significant. showed a significant effect. Sixth, the higher the coping behavior of the mother of a child with intellectual disability, the higher the family function, family cohesiveness, and adaptability. Seventh, in the relationship between parenting stress and family function of mothers of children with intellectual disabilities, it was confirmed that there was a mediating relationship between coping behavior and coping behavior of the conforming type between coping behavior and subsequent sub-factors. The significance and suggestions of this study were discussed and suggestions for future research were made.
