As the self-regulated learning is essential for enhancing expertise of interpreting trainees, they now want to practice interpretation whenever and wherever they want. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a web-based or smartphone-based training platform that enables self-regulated training across time and place. In this regard, the study aims to analyse the types of platforms for interpreting training and their characteristics, and evaluates them from the perspective of the self-regulated learning process (preparation, practice, and evaluation), which is the basis of interpreting training. So, the study first analyze existing online-based interpreting practice tools to develop a platform that can be utilized by interpreting learners to acquire interpreting skills and develop their professional skills. Platforms for interpreting training can be categorized into training-based platforms and material-based ones. And for the latter, basic knowledge of interpreting and interpreting material platforms are provided. And the analysis shows that any online tools are not provide all the three steps of preparation, practice and evaluation.
