퇴행성 슬관절염에 대한 보존적 치료의 국내 임상 연구 동향 고찰

A Study on the Trends of Domestic Clinical Research on Conservative Treatment for Degenerative Knee Arthritis

Objectives Degenerative knee arthritis (DKA) is a representative prevalent disease in the Korean senior and the interests are growing. However, there is few review on the trend of non-surgical treatment of DKA in recent decade. Therefore this study reviewed the clinical studies about DKA from 2010 to now to find a research trend and obtained some knowledge. Methods The clinical studies were searched at the following sites: Korean studies Information Service System(KISS), Research Information Service System(RISS), Science On, DBpia, Library of the Korean National Assembly, Korea Citation Index(KCI), NAVER Academic Information with the key words of ’degenerative knee arthritis’, ’knee arthritis’, ’degenerative arthritis’, ’osteo arthritis’. First, 143 papers were searched and 126 were finally selected. The Korean medicine papers were 24 and the papers on conservative treatment in addition to korean medicine were 102. Results In the Korean medicine papers, the journal of acupuncture research published the most articles. The herb medication, acupuncture, and the combined treatment were the major theme. The randomized controlled trial was the most article type. For the outcome measurement, Visual analogue scale(VAS) was the most frequently used, and Western Ontario and McMaster Universities(WOMAC) and Korean version of WOMAC(K-WOMAC) were also uses frequently. In the paper on conservative treatment in addition to korean medicine, the publication was decreased gradually and the journal of the Korean society of sports science published the most. When analyzed according to the theme, the papers about exercise treatment occupied more than half. The outcome measurement used the VAS the most. Conclusions From the results, it was understood that overall since 2010 a lot of attempts to evaluate the diverse treatments were performed and it seems that this trend would be continued.
