인구소멸시대 농촌축제를 통한 지역관광활성화 방안 연구

A Study on Ways to Revitalize Local Tourism through Rural Festivals in the Age of Demographic Extinction: With an Emphasis on the 2023 Hampyeong Grand Chrysanthemum Festival

목적 본 연구는 지역의 인구 소멸 문제가 점차 확대되어 감에 따라 지역소멸 대안 중 하나로 떠오르고 있는축제를 통해 지역의 관광경쟁력을 높이고, 다양한 관광객 유치 전략을 제시함으로써 지역의 인구 소멸 문제해결에 기여하고자 한다. 방법 설문은 총 320부를 배포하여, 그 중 불성실한 답변을 제한 총 303부가 최종 분석 데이터로활용되었다. 통계분석을 위해 SPSS 26.0과 AMOS 26.0을 활용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도 분석과 확인적요인분석 및 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 분석결과 첫째, 축제매력성 중 정보성과 축제상품성은 지역이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로나타났고, 둘째, 축제매력성 중 정보성, 프로그램, 축제상품성은 축제만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로나타났으며, 셋째 지역이미지와 축제만족 모두 지역애호도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 농촌 유입 인구를 확대하고, 지역 관광을 활성화시키기 위해서는 그 지역의 특색이 반영된 축제가중요한 역할을 한다. 따라서 매력적인 축제 기획을 통해 지역 이미지와 애호도를 향상시키고, 지역축제활성화 및 농촌지역 발전에 기여 할 필요가 있다.

Purpose This study aims to contribute to solving the problem of demographic extinction risk in local regions by enhancing regional tourism competitiveness and suggesting various strategies to attract tourists through festivals that are emerging as an alternative solution to regional demographic extinction as the problem of population decline in local regions gradually worsens. Methods The survey was conducted by allocating a total distribution of 320 copies, with 303 copies being used as data for final analysis and excluding those that were invalid. For statistical analysis, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmations factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis were performed using SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0. Results The analysis shows that firstly, the informativity and merchantability of festival attractiveness had a positive effect on regional image. Second, festival attractiveness's informativity, program, and merchantability profoundly impacted festival satisfaction. Thirdly, both regional image and festival satisfaction had a favorable influence on regional loyalty. Conclusion In order to expand population influx into rural communities and revitalize local tourism, festivals that reflect local characteristics play an important role. Therefore, it is beneficial to plan attractive festivals to improve the regional image and loyalty and contribute to the revitalization of local festivals and the development of Rural areas.
