여행가이드의 역사유적 관광자원에 대한 해설이 여행객만족과 장소애착 및 충성도에 미치는 영향: 노인관광객을 중심으로

The Effect of Travel Guide's Commentary on Historic Relics Tourism Resources on Traveler Satisfaction, Place Attachment and Loyalty: Focusing on Elderly Tourists

목적 본 연구는 관광자원 해설이 여행객만족과 장소애착 및 충성도에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 검증하고자 하였다. 실증연구 대상은 역사유적이 많은 이태리 로마에 여행가이드를 동반하여 방문한 노인관광객을 대상으로 하였다. 기존의 선행연구에서는 설문 응답자의 나이를 고려하지 않고 실증 연구를 진행하였으나 본 연구에서는 해설을 상대적으로 이해하기 어려운 노인층을 대상으로 실증 연구를 진행하였다. 방법 실증연구를 위해 로마를 방문한 노인 관광객을 대상으로 설문조사를 하였으며, 총 263부의 설문지를 실증분석에 활용하였다. 결과 요인분석 결과 여행가이드의 해설은 흥미성, 전달성, 전문성, 교육성으로 구성되었고, 여행객만족과 장소애착 및 충성도는 단일차원으로 구분되었다. 회귀분석결과 여행가이드의 역사유적에 대한 해설의 흥미성과 전달성이 여행객만족과 장소애착 모두에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 교육성은 장소애착에만 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 전문성은 여행객만족과 장소애착 모두에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 연구되었다. 결론 결국 여행가이드의 역사유적에 대한 해설은 여행객의 만족과 장소애착을 높여 재방문과 구전 및 추천의도를 높일 수 있는 것으로 연구되었다.

Purpose This study was intended to empirically verify the effect of tourism resource commentary on traveler satisfaction, place attachment and loyalty. The subjects of the empirical study were elderly tourists who accompanied a tour guide to Rome, Italy, which has many historical sites. In previous studies, empirical studies were conducted without considering the age of the survey respondents, but in this study, empirical studies were conducted targeting the elderly who had relatively difficulty understanding the explanations. Methods For empirical research, a survey was conducted on elderly tourists who visited Rome, and a total of 263 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. Results As a result of factor analysis, the tour guide's commentary was composed of interest, conveyance, professionalism, and education, and traveler satisfaction, place attachment, and loyalty were classified as a single dimension. As a result of the regression analysis, it was found that the interest and conveyance of the tour guide's commentary on historical relics had a significant effect on both tourist satisfaction and place attachment, and education had a significant effect only on place attachment. It was studied that there was no significant effect on both traveler satisfaction and place attachment. Conclusion In the end, it was studied that the tour guide's commentary on historical relics can increase the satisfaction and place attachment of travelers, increasing revisit, word of mouth, and recommendation intention.
