MWTS(Movement with Touch and sounds)기법을 활용한 집단통합예술치료 프로그램 개발을 위한 연구

Research on developing a integrated arts therapy program using MWTS (Movement with Touch and sounds): Focusing on improving the social skills of adults with developmental disabilities

본 연구는 쎼사미연극치료(Drama and Movement Therapy)의 Movement with Touch and Sounds(MWTS)기법을 활용한 통합예술치료 프로그램이 발달장애성인을 대상으로 사회적 기술 향상에 미치는 영향과 프로그램 활용성을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 서울시에 소속된 00성인발달 재활센터 소속 성인 발달장애인 8명을 선정한 후, 주 1회(60분)로 총 28회기까지 진행하였다. 이에 본 연구는 MWTS기법을 활용한 통합예술치료프로그램이 발달장애성인의 사회적 기술 향상에 미치는 영향과 프로그램을 활용한 사전/후 사회적 기술평정척도(SSRS)와 행동관찰을 분석하는데 의미가 있다. 따라서 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 먼저, MWTS기법을 활용한 집단통합예술치료는 모든 참여자의 사회적 기술척도의 총점이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 하위영역인 협력, 자기주장, 자아통제 또한 높게 나타났다. 이는 MWTS를 활용한 통합예술치료가 발달장애성인의 사회적 기술 향상에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 향후 발달장애인 성인을 위한 사회적 기술 향상 프로그램 개발의 시급성이 입증되었다.

This study proposes the impact of an integrated arts therapy program using the Movement with Touch and Sounds (MWTS) of Drama and Movement Therapy(sesame dramatherapy) on improving social skills and usability of the program for adults with developmental disabilities. The participants of the study were eight adults with developmental disabilities belonging to the Adult Development and Rehabilitation Center in Seoul, and the study was conducted once a week (60 minutes) for a total of 28 sessions. Accordingly, this study is meaningful in analyzing the impact of an integrated arts therapy program using the MWTS on improving social skills in adults with developmental disabilities, as well as the social skills rating scale (SSRS) and behavioral observations before and after using the program. Therefore, the results of the study are as follows. First, group integrated arts therapy using the MWTS showed that all participants had high total scores on the social skills scale, and the sub-areas of cooperation, assertiveness, and ego control were also high. This shows that integrated arts therapy using MWTS has a positive effect on improving the social skills of adults with developmental disabilities, and the urgency of developing social skill improvement programs for adults with developmental disabilities in the future has been proven.
