북한군 미래 전투양상을 고려한 인공지능과 로봇 기술의 적용 방안

AI & Robot for military innovation based on the future combat of the North Korea military

오늘날 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence), 로봇(Robot), 사물인터넷(Internet of Things), 빅 데이터(Big Data) 등 최첨단 과학기술과 지식·정보 분야에 걸친 혁신은 지금껏 우리가 경험하지 못했던 속도와 방향으로 이루어지고 있다. 이는 지금까지 우리가 성취해 온 모든 제도와 가치, 그리고 삶의 방식을 획기적으로 바꿀 것으로 예상이 되는데 그 결과, 이러한 혁신을 4차 산업혁명의 시대로 표현한다. 우리 군 또한, 오늘날 맞이하고 있는 변화의 환경 속에서 드론봇(Dronbot), 워리어 플랫폼(Warrior Platform) 등을 이용한 새로운 전쟁수행방식의 추진 등, 군만의 독자적인 군사혁신을 시도하고 있는데 이를 위해서는 드론봇, 워리어 플랫폼의 핵심기술 중 하나인 인공지능과 로봇 기술에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 뿐만 아니라, 북한군의 미래 전투양상을 도출하고 이에 대응하기 위하여 어떻게 인공지능과 로봇기술을 적용할 수 있는지 고찰이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 인공지능과 로봇 기술에 대해 개관하며 각각의 기술 발전 추세를 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 워 게임 방식을 적용하여, 북한군의 미래 전투양상을 도출하고 이에 대응하기 위한 인공지능과 로봇 기술의 적용 방안을 제안해 보고자 한다.

Today, innovation in cutting-edge science and technology, such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), Robot, Internet of Things, and Big Data is taking place at a speed and direction that we have never experienced before. This is expected to revolutionize all the institutions, values, and ways of life that we have achieved so far, and as a result, these innovations are expressed in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution. The South Korea military is also trying its own independent military innovation, including the implementation of new war-making methods using drones and the Warrior-Platform amid the changing environment facing today, which requires an understanding of AI and robot technology, one of the core technologies of dronebot and Warrior-Platforms. In addition, consideration is needed for military innovation based on these technologies. As a result, in this paper, we will take an overview of AI and robot technologies and examine each technology development trend. Also, we propose the concept of military innovation, a future combat of the North Korea military, and the application of AI and robot technologies for military innovation.
