이사 1,2-3이 지닌 이사야서의 서곡으로서의 문학-신학적 역할에 관한 고찰

Study on literature-theological role of Isaiah 1,2-3 as the prologue of the Book of Isaiah: ‘Hear, O heavens, and listen, O earth’(Is 1,2)

이사야 예언서의 시작을 선포하는 이사 1,2-3은 “하늘”과 “땅”을 향해 “들어라”와 “귀를 기울여라”하는 명령으로 시작된다. 이는 예언서의 가장 첫 자리에 위치하며 66장에 이르는 이사야서의 서곡의 역할을 수행한다. 2-3절의 짧은 단락이 서곡의 역할을 수행하는 것은 단지 이사야서 안에서의 위치 때문만은 아니다. 비록 짧은 구절에도 불구하고, 두 개의 구절이 내포하는 요소는 이사야서 내부적으로 이사야서가 전개하는 선포의 주요 주제를 담고 있다. 아울러 이사 1,2-3은 어휘적 연결 고리를 통해 구약성경 안에서 신명 32장, 탈출 사건과 시나이 계약을 계승하는 가운데, 예언자 이사야가 바로 모세의 자리를 계승한다는 권위를 부여한다. 이처럼 이사 1,2-3은 한편으로 선행하는 전통 신학과의 연속성을 드러내고, 다른 한편으로 이사야서가 전개하는 신학적 주제의 출발점을 제시하는 점이본문의 모습을 보여준다. 이로써 이사 1,2-3은 전통에 대한 회고와 미래에 대한 전망을 품고 있는 “문학-신학적 교각”의 역할을 수행한다.

Isaiah 1,2-3, which proclaims the beginning of prophetic Book of Isaiah, started with the order of ‘Hear O heavens, and listen, O earth’. This paragraph has positioned in the very first place of this prophetic book, and accomplished the role of prologue in the 66 Chapters of Isaiah. The reason of these 2-3 short verses performed the role of prologue is not just the location in the Isaiah. Although this is very short paragraph, the elements of these two verses connoting important theme of proclamation, which is developed internally in the Book of Isaiah. Additionally, Isaiah 1,2-3 grant the authority that prophet Isaiah has succeeded Moses’ position through lexical connecting link, while inheriting Deuteronomy Chapter 32, Exodus and Sinai covenant in the Old Testament. Like this, Isaiah 1,2-3 reveals the continuity with preceding traditional theology on the one hand, and on the other hand, propose the starting point of Isaiah’s theological theme. Hereby, Isaiah 1,2-3 carry out the role of ‘pier of literature-theology’ containing the remembrance on tradition and prospect for the future.
